Dr Craig Davies, CEO
Dr Craig Davies is a recognised leader in the field of climate resilience financing, with more than 25 years of experience in the fields of sustainable finance and climate action. He has been at the forefront of the climate resilience financing agenda for more than 15 years, with a proven track record of innovation and delivery across the public and private sectors.
In 2022 Craig founded Cadlas with the goal of mobilising financial markets to address the urgent need for greater investment in climate resilience. Previously, he led business operations on climate resilience, climate risk and climate corporate governance at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) where he also played a central role in setting up multilateral climate finance mechanisms and embedding physical climate risk into climate-related financial disclosure practices. Craig also worked on a number of flagship sustainable development programmes at the UK Government after starting his career in environmental impacts research.
Craig is a sought-after speaker, guest lecturer and advisor in the field of climate resilience and sustainable finance. He holds a PhD in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London.
Noah Wescombe, Senior Specialist
Noah Wescombe is a Senior Specialist at Cadlas where he leads on a range of technical assignments focused on physical climate risk, climate resilience impact assessment and financial modalities for climate resilience. Noah works with a broad range of investors, financial institutions, government bodies and finance and business sector associations to advance innovative solutions for mobilising finance and delivering impact in relation to climate resilience objectives.
Noah previously led the Physical Climate Risk and Resilience programme at the UN-backed Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) and is also an advocate and recognised expert on global food system resilience. Noah is an economist by training and holds an MPhil in Socio-Legal Water Governance from the University of Oxford.
Aiesha Joseph, Analyst
Aiesha is an analyst at Cadlas, where she is responsible for research and data analysis across the field of climate resilience financing. As a national of a highly climate vulnerable small island state, Aiesha is passionate about the importance of mobilizing finance for climate resilience and her professional focus is motivated interests lie in the Global South’s access to and utilization of finance for addressing climate change.
She holds a Master’s degree in Climate Change Finance & Investment from the University of Edinburgh, which has equipped her with a robust understanding of the impacts of climate change and its implications on financial markets and economic development.

Nigel Jollands
Dr Nigel Jollands is an internationally recognised expert in the field of climate finance, with a particular focus on sub-sovereign green financing and policymaking that enables investment in climate action. Nigel is also the skipper of the Novara, an innovative sea-based mission that aims to support coastal communities to become more climate safe.
